Freesat
Freesat is a joint venture between the BBC and ITV, bringing you digital TV service with over 140 TV and Radio stations - including High Definition - without the burden of a monthly subscription fee.
There are three types of Freesat boxes available at the moment, they are:
- Freesat Digital Box � bringing you over 140 digital TV and Radio channels in standard definition as well as interactive TV, 8 day on-screen program guide and digital text.
- Freesat HD Digital Box � with all the same features as the Digital Box plus fantastic HD pictures and audio.
- Freesat HD Digital TV Recorder � not only does this box have all the features included in the Freesat HD digital box, it also allows you to pause, rewind and record live TV in both standard and high definition. Never miss your favourite TV programme again.
Sky
As a SKY agent, Atlas Direct Limited hold stock of SKY, SKY+ and SKY+HD boxes for new installations as well as system upgrades and system repairs.
Our SKY service also includes installing second cables for SKY+ and SKY+HD as well as multi-room linkups.

HD Solutions
HDTV can only be received through a satellite signal leaving you with the option of Freesat HD and SKY HD. At the moment SKY have more HD broadcasting channels than Freesat, however this comes at a cost of a monthly subscription whereas Freesat � other than the initial layout for the Freesat installation � is free.
You will also need a HD-Ready TV. Most new LCD and Plasma TV sets on the market today are HD-Ready, some, like the Panasonic, also come with Freesat built in thereby saving you money on purchasing a Freesat box.

European Solutions
Atlas Direct Limited specialise in both fixed and automated European Satellite installations. Linking to European satellites allows you to receive channels in a number of different languages including: German, Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Thai, Kurdish and many more.
Fixed European Satellite installations are ideal if you know which European channels you wish to pick up and if they are all found on one satellite. However if you would like to receive channels from multiple satellites then a motorised dish installation is what you need.
With thousands of European channels to choose from deciding which system and which satellite you need to link to can be very confusing. At Atlas we have a full list of channels available on each of the satellites and their broadcasting language. Therefore contact us with your needs and we will find the optimum package to suit you.
